Montrose Visual Arts Guild Home Page The Montrose Visual Arts Guild was formed to promote the visual arts in Montrose County and the surrounding communities. Mission The mission of the Montrose Visual Arts Guild is to promote public awareness of the visual arts and artists and their significant creative contributions. The Guild will strive to educate and inspire artists and interested public through programs, workshops, exhibitions and good fellowship, and pledges itself to encourage high standards of excellence in two and three dimensional works in all media. The activities of the Guild include monthly meetings with professional artist demonstrations, an annual Spring Art Show, and workshops scheduled periodically. The Guild members participate in community activities such as Main Street in Motion; Art in Motion; Partners' Program; and Habitat for Humanity Projects.
